Getting your new Cat is an exciting and important time in your life. Why not treat their health just as importantly. Trust Erz Animal Hospital with all of your Cat care needs. From vaccinations and routine checkups, our staff is dedicated to helping your cat live a long and healthy life.

Vet Care for My Cat:

8 Weeks old is the first time your kitten should come see us for their first physical exam, vaccines, and deworming. They will get the first kitten vaccines in a series of three that is a 3 way vaccine including Feline Panleukopenia(feline distemper), Rhinotacheitis, Calicivirus.

12 weeks old your cat will get another wellness exam and their second set of the vaccines. This set will be a 4 way that includes the previous vaccines and will add Feline Leukemia. We will check growth rate, and discuss any other concerns.

16 weeks your cat will get the third set of kitten vaccines which is the 4 way vaccines and then add their Rabies vaccine. At this age they are old enough to get spayed/neutered and if you do not plan to breed your cat we recommend doing this now. After 16 weeks your cat will only need vaccines yearly afterwards.

Annually your cat should come see us for a physical exam, vaccines, dental checks, preventative medications, and any needed testing. Regular vet care is essential for a long and happy life!
